Duke Chapel Wedding – Eva and Anthony
Being a Raleigh Wedding Photographer, allows us to be part of beautiful weddings like Eva and Anthony’s at the gorgeous Duke Chapel.
We first met Eva when she began her search for a Raleigh wedding photographer. Since the very beginning, she told us that she considered photography one of if not the most important things at her wedding.
Not long after, we had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session in the fall of last year (2018). Finally, now, we were happy to join them as their wedding photographer at Duke Chapel in Durham, North Carolina to celebrate their wedding.
Unlike Eva and Anthony’s engagement shoot this past fall, their May wedding date was very hot. We were keenly aware of this, as the ceremony started at 12 pm, when the sun is highest in the sky.
Nevertheless, they braved through it, with the group of close friends they had chosen as their wedding party. Fortunately, the historic Duke Chapel’s vaulted ceilings served both as a shady reprieve and fairy tale backdrop for the couple to say their vows.
After the ceremony, we joined the wedding party at the luxurious Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club, also in Durham. Here, Eva and Anthony met their family and friends again.
The Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club provided the perfect backdrop for their portrait photos as husband and wife
Despite the heat of the day, the happy couple danced the rest of the night away, surrounded by their close friends and family.
We have been truly honored that Anthony and Eva have allowed us to be a part of so much of their path leading up to their wedding.
They appreciate the importance of documenting these moments that they will think back on for a lifetime.
