The Garden on Millbrook in Raleigh, NC on April 2018 was the stage for Jessica and Antwine wedding. They hired us to photograph their wedding two years before the date. They knew how busy we get and didn’t want to take the chance of not having us documenting what was the most important day of their lives.
We photographed their engagement quite some time before their wedding, and we learnt that Antwine proposed to Jeessica outside a cafe in Paris in 2016. We shot it at the UNC Chapel Hill campus, since Antwine is a big Tar Hell fan. It was a fun afternoon with lots of laughter. They brought Oscar, their companion dog and Oscar was very well behaved and was even a part of the wedding.
The Garden on Millbrook
What a beautiful venue it is. It has an outside setting, where you can have your wedding ceremony if it’s a nice day. But don’t worry because there’s also space inside if the weather doesn’t cooperate and you need to have the ceremony inside. It even has a beautiful grand piano, which was where we decide to have their first look. As you can see on the images below, they turned out very special.
Jessica tells about their big day:
“We used several methods of planning. Our colors were blush pink, gold, and gray. We just wanted it to be a fun experience for our guests and ourselves, so we focused on having lots of food, alcohol, and fun music! We incorporated a few extra fun moments in the wedding, such as our sweet dog walking down the aisle with a suit that said “Best Dog”, and the bride and her dad breaking out into a dance montage during the father daughter dance. The sweet moment when we did a first look before the ceremony, officially being pronounced Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, and dancing the night away with all of our loved ones from near and far.”
We truly feel very honored on each wedding we photograph. Jessica & Antwine’s wedding was beautiful. A true love celebration that will be remembered for years to come.
